Braxton "> Tyrone Braxton
Tyrone Braxton played professional football as an owner of Denver cornerback and safety for most of his career since 1987 until 1999. In Denver, Braxton had 4 visits Show to "large" (SB XXII, XXIV, SB, SB XXXII, XXXIII SB) and has 2 championship rings. In SB XXXII, had an interception against Brett Favre that set up a key touchdown in Denver and ultimately played an important role in bringing home the championship trophy important for "Mile High City."
Braxton finished his 13 seasons with 40 interceptions, returned to 617 meters and 5 touchdowns. He also recorded 3 sacks and 10 fumble recoveries, he returned for 106 yards. In 1996, he led the PROS Braxton in interceptions and was invited to Honolulu to play with the best of the best. Braxton also played one season with Miami in 1994 and led the professionals in interceptions in 1996.
Braxton played football at the University of North Dakota State University earned all-conference honors in his senior year and won 3 national championships in 4 years. It was a defensive specialist and punt return that won all the honors to the Conference as a senior after posting 128 tackles, one INT and two FR. He led the conference with five interceptions and an average of 15.0 punt return as a junior. He was a member of the North Central Conference champion squad outdoor 400-meter relay and competed in the national championship. Braxton was drafted by the Broncos in round 12 of the 1987 draft in the NFL.
