The New Wembley Stadium: Home to English Football
For any football fan, a visit to the new Wembley Stadium is a must. Not only is one of the world's foremost modern stadiums, but is home to the best of English football and has a real 'Footie-fest "at the end of the nation leader in the cup and the Football League play-offs all season.
The Football Association - the sport's governing body - is planning a move £ 12 million from its administrative headquarters in Soho Square for the new stadium in July 2009. In Wembley is also the place of origin for all international matches England - including qualifying games for World Cup Final 2010 - the movement firmly establish the stadium as the "cradle of English football.
