2008 will be remembered as the year of surprises everywhere in sports. Not a single team that was favored to win in a championship game and won. We had four # 1 seeds in the four NCAA Final first time. KU was up 40 points in North Carolina and UNC brought within three before losing by 18. Memphis choked on the foul line and takes advantage KU and win in OT. The Patriots are 16-0 in the regular season (first time), only to be upset in the Superbowl for the weakest point 14 NY Giants. The Lakers, elected to win in five losing to the Celtics in June. The Phillies win the World Series, LSU disorders # 1 seed Ohio State in college football, Nadal beats Federer in classic Wimbledon ... WOW!
