NFL power program?

Does anyone know a good formula to calculate power program; i dont want sos from the beginning season based on the year recent entries ... I want one based results so far this year ... this is what I thought until now in average profit rate of opponents = X average winning percentage of opponents of the opponent = Y average (X + X + Y) so i represent a high value, x, due to low value y ... and gives more weight to opponents share their opponent opponents of the ... I got a computer sheet up to date ... any thoughts or suggestions? or am I the only one who cares; John - this is the system I am using less the last part to add to BCS ... I just wanted SOS:) so it looks like im on track ... just trying to understand if there are other variables i need checking for a more accurate estimate

You can use the system BCS: average winning percentage of opponents X = average winning percentage of opponents opponent = Y (2X + Y) / 3 After the calculations for all groups, including splitting, 0.5749 ranked sixth among the 114 groups. 6 divided after 25 to give all to be added in the BCS poll. 6 / 25 = 0.24 0.24 is added to overall BCS poll *********************************** The only other factor I would add something on the margin of victory, but I do not know how to calculate it.
