Report: Merriman trade talks died due to agent; Saints were involved

Chargers linebacker Shawne Merriman might have changed in response to three agents offers the draft weekend, which did not happen, largely due to the high demands Tom Condon for a long term contract with other teams, the San Diego Union -Tribune reported today, citing sources.
