Does anyone agree with me that Detroit is the best sports town?

I'm from Denver, but I think really its detroit. - The Red Wings - one of the top 3 best hockey teams of all time - the Pistons - one of the best basketball teams in recent times and i credit for bringing the bad guys defense for the game - the Tigers - the second worst record ever, the AL champions - Barry Sanders, the best runner of all time, and you would be crushed if the record for yards more playing time - University of Michigan football with the best football team of all time - MSU basketball, one of the best teams in the NCAA Bball recentlty, Magic Johnson or What do you think? Actually give a reason, just do not scream ur hometown ... it the Celtics, but otherwise ...

I do not think they have the better city, despite the good teams. On the one hand, Magic Johnson played for a long time, and he does nothing for basketball MSU today. Not many people care about hockey in America. No offense, I think is a great sport to watch, but ... Americans are obsessed with football, and not even say that you are a great football in the city because of a player. You can not seem to decide whether you think they are the best because from now or the past. ie. Magic Johnson, Barry Sanders (long gone) and Detroit (last year). Finally, I think you need to look at the city, not just computers. The atmosphere they play in is much more important than what the teams are there, not to mention how teams behave. (The Pistons and Pacers) I hate the Red Sox and Patriots, but I thought Boston was a very big city, and although you may not have all these things, the general atmosphere that makes them better.
