"I can succeed at this university?

I am very interested in the Union College in New York. I'm a football player and have never been a great student. I have around a 2.9 gpa on a good public school, but I've never tried the best I can and am willing to change this situation in college. Coach I said that football could come, but I'm not sure how it would fit as a student there. Can anyone help?

well, if you are willing to try a little harder in college and then I say go for it. An average of 2.9 is quite respectable. If you think, if you work a little harder Only you could get a 3.0 which is essentially a B average, which is very respectable in the university. While you stay focused and work hard, which must be well. Good luck in you decision.
